Ralph Randall Ragan, 77, passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2016. He was born October 12, 1938 and raised in Bradenton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jacquelyn; daughters Marilyn Shaffer, Carolyn (Ken) Marshall, and Sandy Sandhoff; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Monroe & Lula Mae Crosby Ragan, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Anyone familiar with Ralph knew he loved his family, music, friends, and dancing. He graduated from Manatee High School in 1956 and graduated from the University of South Florida in 1969 with a B.A. degree in music. There will be a celebration of life Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bradenton Women’s Club, 1705 Manatee Ave. W. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bradenton Woman’s Club or charity of your choice.
