Born in Milwaukee, WI on February 25, 1930, Ed worked as an electrician at the Harnischfeger Corporation in West Allis, WI for 44 years. He is survived by his wife Peggy and his 6 children (Kent Flanders - Oak Creek, WI; Mark Flanders - New Berlin, WI; Donna Mayne - West Allis, WI; Lynn Cowe – Perth, Australia; Lori Brannon – West Virginia; and Diana Tully - Bradenton, FL), stepson (Ted Lawson - Newtown Square, PA) and 15 grandchildren.
