Glenda Denise Malone, 54, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2018, at Holston Manor. She was born on February 4, 1964 in Kingsport to Wayne and Shirley Malone. She was a 1982 graduate of Sullivan North High School. She was a hard worker all of her life, sometimes multiple jobs at a time. She had a big heart, and was a very giving and caring person. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Glenda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Pauline and Judge Chandler; maternal grandparents, James and Eva Albright; uncle, Gene Malone; and cousin, Brian Malone. Glenda is survived by her parents, Wayne and Shirley Malone; sister, Patricia Heard and husband Mark; niece, Rachael; nephews, Jacob, Joshua, and Braxtyn; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport from 12pm to 2pm. A Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Randy Robbins officiating. Music will be provided by Tim and Selene Hammonds.
