Donald Belcher, Sr. Kingsport – Donald Belcher, Sr., 65, of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night June 9, 2019 in Winder, GA. He was born in Troy, NY and had resided in Kingsport for the past 9 years. He was a tractor trailer driver for over 32 years presently working for Wright Transportation in Mobile, AL. He truly loved his grandchildren and made them the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dawson and D. Marion Brant Belcher Potter; sister, Karen Belcher. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Joseph Belcher; sons, Donald Belcher, Jr. and Daniel Belcher; step daughter, Cassandra Nelson; step son, Brandon Saylor; Step daughter, Teresa Worthington; a very special granddaughter, Daisy Saylor; a very special grandson, Alex Worthington; sisters, Laurie Parker, Victoria Potter, Amy Decker and Ann Potter; brothers, Terry Potter, Jerry Potter, Kevin Potter and Nicholas Potter; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will received friends from 2 pm to 3 pm on Saturday June 15, 2019 at Carter-Trent funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A service will follow at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Damon Joseph officiating.
