Mary Lynn Crawford Gentry

Mary Lynn Crawford Gentry, 92, of Fall Branch was called home Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She resided most of her life in Fall Branch. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Nancy Crawford. She graduated from Fall Branch High School and went on to receive her LPN nursing license and retired from Indian Path Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Phillips; daughter Christine Hite; sisters Opal Crawford, Desi Crawford, Lorraine Blair and Katherine Harr; brothers Edward, JD, Eugene and Claude Crawford. She is survived by daughters Diane Nunley, Debbie (Chuck) Myers, Connie (David) McMurray, Becky Hicks; son, Jeff (Mechelle) Phillips; brother Willard Crawford; sister Lucille Kincheloe; two sisters-in-law Edna Crawford and Bea Crawford; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at Oak Glen Cemetery in Fall Branch with Pastor Rick Vannoy officiating at 12 PM Friday, September 20, 2019. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2020 Meadowview Pkwy #100, Kingsport TN 37660. The family would like to thank the staff at Wellmont Madison House and Ballad Hospice for the loving care of “Miss Mary”.
