He was born in Hazard, Kentucky, son of the late Kermit and Wilma Alsip Beams. He was an automotive Mechanic at John Cooke Motors and Motor Sports. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Beam (Adam) Thompson of Lexington, his son, Donald Paul Beam of Nicholasville, and one grandson Jax Thompson of Lexington. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Information A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-9PM Monday March 16, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon-Crossing.
