Jane Rosequist, of Venice, FL, formerly of Wareham, MA, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Village on the Isle, where she was a long-time resident. Jane is predeceased by her late husband of 54 years, Edward Rosequist of Wareham, MA and Venice, FL. Jane attended Oberlin Conservatory in Oberlin, OH, where she studied voice. She was the first freshman voice major allowed to participate in the school's annual recital. Illness prevented a career in music, but Jane performed as a coloratura soprano throughout southeastern Massachusetts, and sang in gospel radio programs on Cape Cod, some of which were produced in her home. She played the piano and organ, and sang in her church, Onset Baptist, and later, sang in the choir at her church in Venice at Grace United Methodist. Jane is survived by a daughter, Carol (Richard A.) Duncanson of Box Elder, SD and Milbridge, ME, and a son, David Rosequist, of Venice and Williamsport, PA. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara MacNevin, of Bourne, MA, as well as two grandsons, one great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Jane loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a prayer warrior throughout her life.
