Frank Openchowski, age 92, of North Port, died on April 9, 2016. He was born in Poland on September 18, 1923, and came to North Port in 1998 from, Colombia, South America. Frank worked in Foreign Service for the US State Department. Surviving family members include his wife, Alexandra, of North Port; son Frank III of Los Angeles, CA; daughter Sasha Segundo (Ernie) of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Eliana R. Segundo and Karissa M. Segundo; mother in law Maria Wasylyshyn ; brother in law Adam Wasylyshyn (Diane); sister in law Tamara Wasylyshyn; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
