Martin Oldja, age 87, of North Port, died on February 24, 2016. He was born on September 6, 1928 in Yugoslavia, and emigrated to Totowa, NJ in 1966. He retired from Glen Rock Ham in Patterson, NJ at age 70. Martin later moved to North Port in 2002. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Surviving family members include his sons, George and Victor, both of North Port, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, North Port, on Monday, February 29th from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at Farley Funeral home on Tuesday, March 1st at 11 am with burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Apostolic Christian Church, 8064 West Price Blvd., PO Box 7581, North Port, FL34286.
