Genevieve Maxine Bohley
March 5th, 1937 - January 7th, 2016
Genevieve Maxine (Miracle Short) Bohley, age 78, of North Port, Florida who was born on March 5, 1937 in Michigan passed away on January 7, 2016. Maxine helped her husband Russell with a lawn care business for over 40 years in Venice before retiring a few years ago. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Russell; two children, Debra (Sam) Sweeting of Port Charlotte, Florida, Dennis Bohley of Nokomis; two sisters, Ruthie (Charlie) Collier of Nokomis, Barb (Rick) Heuss of Michigan; a brother, Lee Roy (Carol) Short of Michigan; grandchildren, Jason (Anna) Sweeting, Joshua Sweeting and Kyle (Eve) Sweeting both of North Port, Ryan Bohley of Venice, Michael (Jennifer) Bennett, Michelle (Gary) Anderson and Roy Lee (Amy) Bennett. Maxine also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Holden & Lennon Sweeting, Cora & Ford Sweeting, Isabella & John Bennett, Tristen, Autumn & Lotti Anderson and Julia & Bankston Bennett. Maxine was a loving wife, mother and grandma and will be dearly missed by all. We will be together again when the Lord comes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held sometime in February. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
