Frankfort, KY Peggy Terrell Calvert, 81, passed away New years Day, January 1st surrounded by her loving family after a hard fought battle of ovarian cancer. Peggy is survived by her children, David L (Pam) Calvert of Bardstown, Gina (Ray) Jesse, Charlena CJ Chapman and Christina Calvert all of Frankfort. Her Grandchildren, Billy Calvert, Jonathon Perry, Jennifer Williams, Justin Perry, Stephanie Collins, Macy Thompson, Brandon Johnson, Christen Johnson and Leslie Jesse and 13 great grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by her brothers, Lee Buddy (Eileen) Terrell of Lexington and Jerry (Etta) Terrell of Frankfort. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Calvert and her parents, Alex and Martha Cain Terrell. Peggy was born in 1935 and attended Bald Knob School where she graduated in 1953. She was retired from The Franklin County Circuit Court as Deputy Chief Clerk. Peggy was a member of Thornhill Baptist Church and was past President and Member of Baileys Mill Homemaker Club. Peggy was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Peggy enjoyed shopping, gardening, traveling, and cooking. There was nothing that Peggy was more proud of than her family and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She fought until the very end and is now resting in the arms of the Lord reuniting with loved ones gone before her. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Farmer and Rev. Tony Prince will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbeaers will be Billy Calvert, Jonathon Perry, Justin Perry, Bryson Chapman, Brandon Johnson, and Ray Jesse. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.
