Jane E. Finlan, 87, of North Port, FL and long time resident of Holiday Park, formerly of Troy, NY died October 17, 2015. Jane was born December 1, 1927 in Troy to Anna (Rinn) amd Charles Finnen. She was a Secretary for the City of Troy having retired in 1986. She was a member of San Pedro Church. Survivors include her son, William F. (Patricia) Finlan, III of North Port; granddaughter, Kelly (Jan) Sherman of Gainesville, VA; grandson, William F. Finlan, IV of Alexandria, VA, step granddaughter, Stefanie Buttermore, and step great grandson, Tyler Buttermore both of Clifton Park, NY; great grandsons: Casey, Nicholas and ""Happy"" Jack Sherman of Gainesville, VA; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, October 24 at San Pedro Catholic Church with inurnment at Sarasota National Cemetery.
