Pegge Moormeier, a longtime resident of Seattle, Washington, passed away on August 17, 2011 at the age of 80. Pegge was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years,Glenn, and her stepson, Jim. She is survived by her five children Pam (Jim) Sollars, Jeff (Jean), Scott (Julie), Cory (Kelley) and Shannon (Glen) Gilmore, and 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; also survived by one sister, Liz Peck, and two brothers, Bill (Judi) and Jack (Vivian) Joyce. Pegge was born in Noonan, ND to Tom and Evelyn Joyce. Throughout Pegges life she worked alongside her husband in their real estate business. When Pegge wasnt working she was supporting her childrens interests in sports and school activities. Pegge and Glenn led a very busy life at their beach cabin at Warm Beach, traveling in their RV and attending Husky sporting events. Pegge and her husband Glenn could often be found in the stands watching their grandchildren play sports, dance, cheer, play in the band or sing. Pegge loved her children and really loved her grandchildren they were her greatest joy. Announcement: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital.
