Tyra Lou Davis

Tyra Lou Davis, born September 25 1947, went to be with our Lord September 16, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. Tyra is survived by her beloved husband, John W. Marxer, her beautiful daughter, Juliana Kay, her devoted step-daughter, Tracie, three brothers, two sisters and a large extended family who loved her very much. Tyra graduated from the University of Idaho, and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority where she made lifelong friends who have remained steadfast throughout her illness. She had a long career in Executive Administration and many friends including her wonde Sodexo family.Her life was filled with all the things she loved, from traveling across continents, to nurturing her beautiful yard and garden. Tyra loved fine art and her home reflected her unusual and exotically gracious taste. She will be remembered for her hilarious sense of humor, her commitment and loyalty to her beloved husband and daughter, her unfailing dedication to her family and friends and her compassion and empathy for others.
