Janice Annette Zagars 1960-2013 Janice was known to all by JAK and she preferred Jak. She passed away in her home December 29, 2013 with her family by her side. Jak is survived by her husband Chris Zagars; her mother Patsy Green-Towle; her brother Steven Mark Green; sister Teresa Tagleiri; her children Monique Moe Benn, Carmen Reza, Derek Johnson, Rita Zagars, Richard Zagars; her son in law Duane Benn and daughter in law Amber Cutsinger; her grandchildren Karolann Benn, Alexandra Benn and Patricia Cutsinger; her nephew Miguel Baltazar and her many cousins. She was born October 8, 1960 in Yakima, WA and moved to the the Ballard area in l963. She attended Loyal Heights Elementary, James Monroe Jr. High and Ballard High School. Jak touched the hearts of everyone she met, her affection and caring for others was always apparent both in her private life and during her many years of working as a waitress/bartender in the Ballard/Fremont area. Jak loved anything outdoors she loved her gardening, camping, bird watching and all wild life. She loved going on trips to the Great State of Nevada, Tenakee, AK and to her favorite spot Lake Conner. Jak will be missed by all.
