John David Troyer

John (Jack) David Troyer went to join his beloved Cathy on June 20, 2017. He was 84 years old. He leaves his sons, Mark (Lisa) and Greg, along with daughters Leslie Henry (Chris) and Karyn. His pride and joy, has been his granddaughter, Erica (Chris and Leslie). Jack, an Edmonds resident and graduate of Vashon High School, served his country as a U.S. Marine and many clients as an accountant over the years before he retired. His family was always first and they are his proudest legacy. He is known for his sage wisdom and support of his familys pursuits whether academics, athletics, or as they began to pursue their own careers, as well as his unending love and loyalty to all he met. He was an adept grill master and a talented gardener who made life bloom, just like he made his family blossom over the years. The family would like to thank Sunrise of Edmonds for the kindness and care given to both John and Cathy. His life was celebrated at a gathering of family and friends on June 24, 2017 followed by a private interment held on June 26, 2017. We miss him.
