John E. Cappadona, 69, of Venice, FL died on June 19, 2014. John was born on May 28, 1945 in Waltham, MA. He was a Systems Analyst for the City of Boston for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. John was an avid golfer and sailor, and he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Sylvania from 1964 to 1967. Survivors include his sons, Matthew Cappadona of Waltham, MA and Jack Cappadona of Melrose, MA; sisters Jeanette Headrick of San Diego, CA, Nancy Kezer of West Boylston, MA, and Pauline Magee of Acton, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Edward. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
