William Hardy Walters, III
February 4th, 1968 - July 22nd, 2016
Cured or not, even in death, I will win, because of how I live out the rest of my life.William (Bill) Hardy Walters III, aka Twister, came into the world February 4, 1968. Bill was proud of this birth date, 2-4-6-8, which is very fitting as he was much appreciated! Sadly after a 2 year battle with Cancer he was freed from his pain and left us on July 22, 2016 at only 48 years old. Bill is survived by his wife, Nicki Walters, parents Bill and Pam Walters, Sister Molly and her husband Gary, 2 nephews, Josiah and Zachary and niece Sarah, as well as his Dalmatian Branimir and 4 Kitties, Charlie, Ivy, Silvi and Autumn. Along with a long line of in-laws, Aunts and Uncles and many many friends.Bill was born in Seattle and raised in Bothell, Washington. He attended Inglemoore High School and Shoreline Community College. His first love was music, he started with playing the Trumpet he then moved on to Guitar, Drums and Keyboards. He went onto a career in the music industry as a Sound Engineer and Tour Manager. While going to college Bill needed to earn some extra cash and came up with an unusual business, a dog waste management service that he named Pooper Trooper. In 2003 he revisited Pooper Trooper and started to build his business. Today it is a sussful small business providing a level of service that he took much pride in. He was well respected in the community and was proud to provide jobs as well as to donate a portion of his profits to animal welfare agencies.Bill was a huge animal lover, he loved nature and watching animals in their natural habitat. He volunteered at PAWS in Lynnwood and participated in many local animal fundraising events. The dogs he visited on his Pooper Trooper routes became his buddies and clients would comment on how they loved listening to him speak so kindly to their dogs. At home he was always found with a Kitty or Dalmatian on his lap or chest. He was a sports fan and loved all his local teams but there was no better Seahawk fan in Seattle! Bill tailgated regularly and supported his team throughout good and bad times. Bills name can be found on the outside of Century Link Field for being a season ticket holder for the Sounders in their 1st year. Bill truly lived life, he was all-in with everything he did. He loved deeply, hugged big, laughed heartily and was knowledgeable on most any topic. Attending Rock Shows, Playing Music, Collecting Vinyl and Local Craft Beer were his passions in life. No one could grill a better Salmon and he could have been deemed a bit of a Foodie. Bill loved the water, the NW Ocean being his favorite place along with Whidbey Island where he spent much time on in his youth and throughout the years. He was proud to be a Washington Native, being born In Bothell and then of his current home in Mountlake Terrace. His Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on August 7, 2016 at the Edmonds Senior Center Ballroom. This is located upstairs, elevators to the left at the front desk. Parking may be a challenge so carpool if you can. Otherwise overflow can park at the Marina or what was the Edmonds Antique Mall but is now a few shops and a gallery on 3rd Ave S. Just do not park in the Sound Transit areas. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the following organizations that meant the most to Bill: Chimpanzee Sanctuary NW - href=http://www.chimpsanctuarynw.org/ target=_blankhttp://www.chimpsanctuarynw.org/ or PAWS Lynnwood - href=https://www.paws.org/ target=_blankhttps://www.paws.org/.
