Grace Mathews Campbell
May 27th, 1934 - February 24th, 2018
Grace Mathews Campbell, 83, of Frankfort died Feb. 24, 2018 at her residence. The Lexington native was retired from the State Department of Education, Teacher Certification. She was a member of B.S.F., Kentucky Public Retirees, and many bridge groups in Frankfort. She is survived by her granddaughter Vanessa (Joel) Noble, Frankfort; her grandson, Brandon (Liz) Matheu, Baltimore, MD; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wolford and Grace Barrett Mathews; husband Fabian E. Campbell and son Fabian Campbell, Jr; and many brothers and sisters. A Celebration of her life will be held from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Flowers are welcome but memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. In memory of Grace, the family requests for everyone to dress casual if they wish.
