June 9th, 1938 - April 21st, 2014
Lt. Col Frank J. Bochnowski, age 75, of Venice, Florida, passed away on April 21, 2014. He was born on June 9, 1938 in Hammond, Indiana. Frank served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and retired with the rank of Lt. Col. He moved to Venice in 2001 from Crown Point, Indiana and was a member of the Jacaranda West Country Club and Epiphany Cathedral. Frank is survived by his wife, Patricia A. of Venice; two daughters, Susan Egan and Peggie Bochnowski both of Medford, NJ; a sister, Geri Noel of Houston, TX and two brothers, James Bochnowski of Atherton, CA and John Bochnowski of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Maggie, Matthew, Christopher and Mark. A funeral mass and burial with full military honors will be held at West Point Cemetery at the United States Military Academy. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center or to the Florida Cancer Specialists in Venice. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
