Kyle was born in Denver, CO at St. Joseph’s Hospital June 2nd, 1986. He grew up in Aurora, CO. He graduated from William Smith High School in 2004 with a certificate in Electronic Installation Technology. He attended classes at Metropolitan State College for 2 years, finishing a certificate of Solar Installation Technology at Arapahoe Community College 2009. Kyle was single, and lived in his own condominium in Littleton, Colorado with his dog. He worked considerable time in the roofing industry as a Sales Professional. He loved the outdoors. A few of Kyle’s favorite pass times included hiking, climbing, snowboarding, biking, skateboarding, slack lining, camping, and mountaineering. His dearest passion was camping in the mountains alongside Clear Creek River with his dog, near Golden, Colorado. Kyle is survived by his parents, mother Susan Sellers, step-father Steven C. Sellers, and brother William P. Sellers. As well as, father Daryl A. Longton, and brother Ryan Longton. Grandparents: Dr. Robert Longton, Maria Longton, Jacqueline Longton, and Helen R. Sellers, Aunts and Uncles: James and Nancy Landauer, James (Denny) and Annie Fennell, Patrick Fennell, Curt and Sandra L. Naylor, Cousins: David and Laura Fennell, Brian and Michelle Fennell, Jodi Fennell, Michael and Tania Landauer, Jeff and Kelly Landauer, John Landauer, Jeanie Landauer, Laurel Naylor. In lieu of flowers, a Fund to acquire a Memorial Park Bench has been established in Kyle Longton’s name at Wells Fargo Bank. The bench, including an embedded plaque will be placed along the Clear Creek Recreational Corridor walkway, in Golden, Colorado.
