Gregory J. VandenHeede, 47, of Venice, formerly of Marshall, MI passed away June 18, 2010. Preceded in death by his brother Kevin, Greg is survived by his life partner Sandy Tudor, their daughters Sheila, Aleah, and Tana, his mother Jane VandenHeede, aunt Anna Rose, and half brother George VandenHeede, Jr. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Greg was also a trainer and service technician for Jimco Maintenance, Inc. in Venice, where he worked for 16 years. He loved to cook, and was known to prepare all of the holiday meals. He also loved to play golf. And his daughters brought out the best of the child in him. Inurnment will take place later in Sarasota National Cemetery.
