Launa Jean Hix, 81, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 4, 1942, to the late Gladys and Leo Long. Mrs. Hix had a degree from MTSU and had been working at Kroger as a cashier. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and dinners with friends. Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughter, Fran Green; son, Ragen (Amanda) Herrington; grandchildren, Brittany (Shane) Normandin, Kirsten Herrington, Joshua Green, Ryan Herrington, Tori Herrington, Rachel Green, Paisley Herrington; and four great grandsons. No services are planned at this time.
