Jackie Alan Price, 84, husband of Dolores Price, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Lexington. Jackie was born on September 18, 1938, in Sunrise, KY to Floyd and Dorothy Price. Jackie proudly served with the United States Air Force and worked as an Electrician at Dixie Cup for many years. Jackie is survived by his wife of 61 years, son Scot A. Price, daughters Gina Price Fielding (James), and Suzanne Price Barton (Michael). Six grandchildren: Kevin Fielding (Kendra), Christopher Price, Megan Johnson (Michael), Patrick Barton, Evan Barton (Jamie), and Nick Barton. One great-grandchild Mason Johnson, former daughter-in-law Debbie Price, sister Elaine Blackburn, brother-in-law Don Critchfield, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jackie was proceeded in death by his sister Geneva Critchfield, nephew Mark Critchfield, brother-in-law Kenneth Blackburn, and niece Lisa Blackburn. A celebration of life will be held for Jackie on Monday, September 18th at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Jackie Price to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA). The world lost a wealth of information with Jackie's passing. He will be greatly missed by our family.
