Lexington - Steven Patrick Waldron, 38, husband of Leslie Fox Waldron, passed away on October 23, 2023, in Lexington at UK - Bluegrass Care Navigators Unit. Steven was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 6, 1984 to Joseph Waldron and Teresa Smith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two loving daughters, who were his reason for living, Mia Nicole, and Ella Marie Waldron. He is also survived by his brother, Christopher Waldron; several aunts, uncles; nieces and nephews; and his supportive in-law family . Steven was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served his country. While he was in the Army, he held many different MOS’s, to include, scout, tanker and sniper. He received numerous awards while in the service. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26 2023 at 6:30pm, at Clark legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:30 until 6:30pm. Burial will be Friday, October 27, 10am at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors. The Waldron family would like to thank Bluegrass Care Navigators and Hospice Care Plus for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Fisher House Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
