Elizabeth (Betty) Burfitt born February 17, 1932 passed peacefully on July 13, 2019 after a brave battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was married to her loving husband, Don, for 69 years. A lovely graveside service was held at Restlawn Cemetery in Edmonds officiated by her Pastor of 43 years, Byron Newby, and attended by her immediate family, spouse - Don Burfitt, brother - Pat (Patsy) Neal, son - Dan (Wendy) Burfitt, daughter - Susan (Tom) Isaacson, grandchildren - Tina (Nick) Redmond, Lori (Jordan) Penhollow, Neal (Carleigh) Burfitt, Tony (Camilla Zavala) Burfitt, great grandchildren - Tyler & Mary Redmond, Isabelle, Jack, and Donald Penhollow, and Maddie & Rori Burfitt. Betty spent her life loving her family, doing good toward others, and loving her Lord and Savior Jesus. She was a good example to all who had the privilege to know her. After retirement, she spent Thursday mornings for nearly 25 years working at the front desk of the Edmonds Senior Center. A Celebration of Life will be held for Betty at her church in Lynnwood in early September (date to be announced).
