Anita Haynes

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Anita Gascon Haynes on February 8, 2025. Anita was born in Jackson, CA, on September 27, 1945, to Alfred and Vera Gascon, along with siblings Alfred Jr. (deceased), Pete Gascon, Joseph Gascon, and Maria Gascon (Mrs. Wayne Robinson). Anita met and married Fayne "Butch" Haynes and made their home in Sutter Creek, CA. They have two children, Gina Haynes (Mrs. Mike Pimentel) and Mitch Haynes, and four grandchildren: Brandon, Tayton, Annesa Pimentel, and Royce Haynes.Anita graduated from Jackson High School and attended Delta College and graduated from Adrian's Beauty College with a California State Cosmetology License. She worked at American Forest Products in Martell, CA, and spent 19 years as a custodian at Amador High School in Sutter Creek, CA, until her retirement. Anita loved working in her yard and especially loved her pool. Butch and Anita loved camping and boating, along with their family, neighbors and lifelong friends.Her children are Anita, Gina Pimentel, and Mitch Haynes; grandchildren; sister, Maria Gascon Robinson; brothers, Pete Gascon (Kathy) and Joseph Gascon (Edith); and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Amador Residential and Bristol Hospice for the loving care she received. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 am at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson, CA.
