Barbara Ann Fine

Barbara Ann Fine, age 73, of Martell, CA, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, in Jackson after struggling with a long illness. Barbara was born in Finley, OK, on November 11, 1943, a daughter of Winifred Ernestine (Flowers) and the late Gilbert Johnson Boggs. Barbara worked in downtown Jackson for over 30 years. She attended First Baptist Church in Jackson and expressed her love for Jesus through her care of her customers and other people, especially those less fortunate. She deeply enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces/nephews - she was their beloved "Baba". Barbara is survived by her mother, Winifred Boggs of Mt. Aukum, CA; son, Mark Fine (DeAnn) of Jackson, CA; sisters: Glenda Benningfield of Stockton, CA, Carrol Dean of Mt Aukum, CA, and Janice Boitano of Sutter Creek, CA; grandchildren: Alyssa Tucker (Christian) and Tyler Fine; great-grandchildren: Graham, Chase, Astride and Charleine; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was preceded by her husband, James Fine in 2001, and daughter, Elizabeth Fine in 1978. At her request there will be no services.
