Frederick William Holmes

Frederick (Mickey) William Holmes passed away September 4, 2024, in Jackson, CA at the age of 82. He was born on February 27, 1942, in Stockton, California to the late William Holmes and Shirley Haro.

Mickey loved racing sports cars and building his own cars and later Formula One racing, he was also a fan of cage fighting. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Sutter Creek Fire Department and was enthusiastic in fighting wildfires. Mickey was a home body, took great pride in his property and wood cutting, but loved the occasional trip to the coast.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie; and his fur babies, Desi and Rita.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at Teresa’s Place in Jackson, CA.
