Thomas Cecil Menley

Thomas Cecil Menley of Sutter Creek, California, was born April 30, 1962, in Fullerton, CA. He went home to be with his Lord on June 18, 2025, at the age of 63.Tom was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man of unwavering faith. He spent his career serving in Corrections, but his true calling was always people. Whether through his work, his church, or everyday life, Tom made it his mission to lift others up.He was a kind and adventurous soul, always ready with a warm smile, an encouraging word, or an invitation to join him on a hike. His passion for the outdoors was only matched by his devotion to his faith and the community he built within his church family.Tom is survived by his beloved wife Cherri; his children Mason and wife Megs, Megan, and Lydia; and his two cherished grandchildren Holden and Alice, who brought him endless joy; mother Linda Lee Fones (h)Dennis; brother John; sisters Lisa, Kyla and (h)Jeff Allen; mother-in-law Neva Forrest; brother-in-law Dennis Forrest; Jason Forrest (Summer); nieces and nephews Marissa, Katie, Abby and family, Jessie, Josh, Sara and Casey Shipman Ben and Evie, and many close family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion. Preceded in death by father Thomas Menley, Jack Forrest, son Levi Menley, and Kirk Forrest.His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire those he loved most.A service to honor and celebrate Tom's life will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Community Church.
