Tina Robin Flynn, age 53, of Jackson, CA, took Jesus' hand Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Tina is survived by her life mate, best friend and husband, Barkley John Flynn of Jackson; children Jessica and Frankie Flynn; father and mother, Sam and Linda Avlakeotes of Redwood City, CA; sister, Cooky and her husband, Robert Wall of Portland, OR; brothers, Brad and his wife, Betty Avlakeotes of Cotati, CA, Bret and his wife, Eve Avlakeotes of Santa Rosa, CA, Scott and his wife, Joyce Avlakeotes of Santa Rosa, CA; parents-in-law, John and Mary Flynn of Livingston, TX; sisters-in-law, Jona Lilly and her husband, Jon of Monticello, IN, Crystal Cohn and her husband, Greg of Yadkinbille, NC; nieces and nephews.
Tina was raised in Redwood City, CA, attending local schools and graduating from Woodside High School, class of 1978. She was an avid cheerleader and loved her Wildcats. She was a skilled dental assistant, graduating from College of San Mateo's Assistant's program. She was a proud member of the Forever Family. Her passion for art led her to become the gal to go to for her wonderful arts and craft ideas and projects. She married Barkley in 1992 and they raised their family in Redwood City until moving to her dream home in Jackson in December of 2012.
A memorial in Tina's honor will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 3:30 pm at San Carlos First Baptist Church, 787 Walnut Street in San Carlos, CA.
In lieu of flowers, you can honor Tina's memory and her love of children in need, by making donations to Redwood Glen Christian Camp or Sugar Pine Christian Camp scholarship funds.
