William Arthur Benson

William "Bill" Arthur Benson, age 69, of Jackson, CA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, compassion and countless moments in which he made life brighter for everyone around him.

Born on January 21, 1956, in St Paul, MN, Bill was the eldest of four children born to the late Stanley and Mary (Moyer) Benson. He graduated from American River College with a degree in Business Administration. He went on to build a successful Construction career in the door/window industry retiring after 40 years of dedicated service.

Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Loretta of 45 years, his daughter Christine (Matt) Ransom, his son Jason Benson and his grandson Luke Ransom. He is also survived by his brothers Don Benson, Dwight (Jamie) Benson, his sister Marilyn Lounsbury and many nieces and nephews.

Bill will be remembered for his unwavering love for his entire family and friends, his generous heart, sense of humor and warm smile when he entered any room.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 19th at 12:00 PM at Jackson View Clubhouse
