William H. Dyer of Pine Grove, CA born July 24, 1946 in San Jose, CA to William and Isola Dyer. Raised in Fremont (Niles) CA and was the eldest of four children. Unexpectedly joined his Father in Heaven on September 9, 2021 along with his loving wife Cheryl Dyer from Napa, CA. He attended Logan High School, where he made an appearance on American Bandstand and Cal State Hayward. He worked as a professional truck driver for City Market and Keebler Company for many years navigating the mountain passes of the Sierra Nevada and Colorado. Skilled at anything mechanical, he enjoyed years of riding or driving motorcycles, ATVs, Jet Skis, 3-wheelers and kayaks. His retirement was dedicated to helping others. He and Cheryl were members of the Golden Nugget RV Club. They enjoyed countless trips throughout California and Oregon with their 4-legged companion Benny. As a member of the St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church of Amador County, he was always there to volunteer with tasks and maintenance the church required.
