Barbara Apter

Apter- Barbara 79 of St. Pete Beach passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. Born in Rochester New York, she came here in 1963 from San Francisco CA. She was a retired Dietitian for the United States Army and served in the Army during the Korean War. She was a member of Temple Beth-El, the American Dietetic Association and the Medical Specialties Corp. Survivors include a daughter Mekel A. Hirschhorn of Atlanta; a sister Faith Vinikoor of Baltimore and one grandson Simon B. Hirschhorn of Marietta GA. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 10AM Friday, September 8, 2006 at David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Rabbi Michael Torop, officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL.
