Charles R. Byrd

Byrd- Charles Richard 74 of St. Petersburg passed away July 29, 2007. Born in Birmingham Alabama, Charles came here in 1988 from Atlanta Georgia. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech where he became certified as a civil engineer. Locally, he worked as a bartender for 18 years at the Don Cesar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, where he came to know many people and make many friends. A Medic in the United States Marine Corp, Charles was a member of American Legion Post #158 in Treasure Island and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4256 in Madeira Beach. He is survived by his loving family, including his beloved wife of 15 years Anneliese; sons Charles Jr and Michael Moshier; mother in law Connie Gensmuller and two grandchildren. Services will be 3PM Thursday August 2nd 2007 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel. David C. Gross Funeral Homes is serving the family. Service Information
