Charles Melemed 92 of St. Petersburg died February 11, 2008 in a pedestrian-auto accident. Born in New York City, he was a retired owner of a trucking company. Survived by daughter Barbara Weinstein, grandson Scott, grandaughter Belinda and two great-grandchildren.
