Edward J. Shaner

Edward J. Shaner 93 passed away on June 12, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dearly beloved husband of the late Ethel Helen, and father of the late Harry. Survived by his children, Frances, Jon, Edward, and Ethel Mae, and by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A printer by trade, a proud member of the Big Six Typographical Union and an equally proud member of the American Civil Liberties Union.; a past Commander of the Floyd Bennett American Legion Post, Brooklyn, New York. Ed's integrity, intelligence, concern for others, and his sense of humor endeared him to all. A private memorial service is planned for early July in St. Petersburg, Florida.
