Ernest C. Otto

OTTO, Ernest C., 90 of St. Petersburg. Died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at his residence, under the care of family and Hospice. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he came here in 1978 from Hackensack. He served in the Marine Corps for two years in China Occupation of 1934 and as a 1st Sergeant in Headquarters Marine Aircraft Group 32 during World War II. He was a supervisor for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Gertrude; two sons, Ernest, Denver, CO., Charles, Victor, ID; daughter, Karla Gerczak, Clarkston, MI; two grandchildren, Matthew Otto and Megan Sampson, both of Denver, CO.
