John A. Ruga
May 6, 1938 — February 11, 2008
John A. "Jack" Ruga, 69, of St. Petersburg died Feb. 11, 2008 under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Jack moved here in 1945 from his native Pittsburgh PA and attended St. Paul's School and SPJC. Retired from Pinellas County School System, he enjoyed volunteering at his church and the Christmas Toy Shop. Jack was a woodcrafter and expert marksman. He was a member Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lucille; daughters Adrienne and Jill; brother Eugene and sister Marilyn.
Memorial service 1PM Monday, Feb 18th at Pilgrim Church, 6315 Central Ave, St. Petersburg where family will receive friends from 12:30PM thru service time.
Memorials donations would be appreciated to Hospice, Pilgrim UCC or the Nature Conservancy.
