Kimberly Ann Davis
April 25, 1956 — May 21, 2021
Kimberly Ann Davis, 65, passed away in her sleep on Friday, May 21, 2021. Kim was born in St Petersburg and grew up in a loving family. She cherished the many activities she was involved in, including piano, ballet, bowling, tennis, summer camp, and Girl Scouts. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs.
Kim graduated from Lakewood High School, where she played on the tennis team, and then attended SPJC before moving to Miami to work for Auto Trader magazine. She moved to Columbus, Ohio, and gave birth to the love of her life, son Nicholas, whose tragic death as an infant prompted her to return to the St Pete area, where she started her own cleaning business. In more recent years, Kim was diagnosed with multiple serious medical conditions, including heart and spinal issues and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, for which she underwent years of chemo therapy. Despite her deteriorating health, she continued to volunteer at Ronald McDonald House and at her church and to help family and friends in need.
Kim’s gifts to the world were her giant heart, her willingness to give to others, her child-like enthusiasm (she loved Christmas and birthdays), and her devotion to family and friends. While she often didn’t have the strength to carry out the activities she had planned, she relied on her faith in God to live life and help others.
Kim was preceded in death by her son Nicholas Davis Doone and her adoptive father Phillip W Davis, Jr. She is survived by her mother Sylvia Davis Baker, her brother Jeff Davis (Susie), her father Ray Pariseau (Linda), and many cousins. Memorial Services for Kim will be held 1pm Friday, May 28, 2021 at Pass-a-Grille Community Church, 107 16th Avenue S., St. Pete Beach, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities Tampa Bay (www.rmhctampabay.org)
The care of Kimberly and her family has been entrusted to David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg.
