Mary P. Pollock
July 21, 1925 — July 13, 2008
Mary P. Pollock, 82, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, July 13, 2008. She served as a nurse in the R.A.F. during WW II, seeing action behind enemy lines. She came to America in 1946, and moved to this area in 1949, settling in St. Petersburg in 1952. She is survived by her son, Bruce P. Taylor of St. Petersburg, her sister Beryl Robson of Australia, and her brothers John Robert Parris and Barry Parris of England, step children Art and Mary Louise Pollock of Dunedin and Gary and Jean Pollock of Cleveland, as well as a large and loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to any organization providing care for animals.
