Penny Lane Rubash

Penny Lane Rubash, 61, died January 3rd, 2018, with her family by her side in Saint Petersburg, Fl. She was born December 7th, 1956 in Olean NY to father La Dern Lane and mother Mary Elizabeth King. Penny spent her younger years in upstate NY, before relocating to Saint Pete FL where she met her husband, Gerald Gene Rubash. They were married on October 4th, 1986 outside at Coquina Key. In 1987, Penny & Gerald gave birth to their first child, Charles Morgan Rubash, and in 1990 to their second child, Kellygene Rubash. Penny’s children and family were her life. Through school, events, sports and life guidance, she selflessly gave all she had and never missed an opportunity to show her support. Her interests included gardening, sewing and reading. She devoted much of her time and life to her family and friends. She was a woman with a giant heart who always gave her shoulder to lean on, a helping hand, and was a mother to everyone when needed. She is survived by her husband, son, daughter, sister, brothers, nieces & nephews. She left us to be with her mother, pop and sister. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Private burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. David C.
