Lew- Ross Martin 70 of St. Petersburg passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at his home. A native of St. Petersburg, he was the former co-owner of Standard Furniture which later became Lew Bros. Furniture. Currently, he was the owner of the Gas Plant Antique Arcade. He was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School and the University of Florida where he belonged to Tau Episilon Phi. He was also was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel and it's Mitzvah Mens Club. He was an Inaugural member and season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Ross will be remembered as a man who loved his family and friends and was connected to his synagogue and faith. One of his greatest passions was that of preserving and sharing family history and traditions. He is survived by his beloved wife Yvette for 46 years; loving father of Jeffrey Mark Lew, Alan Mitchell (Judy) Lew and Carmen Lew (Mac) Langston; devoted brother of Larry Lew and Sharron Lew Scott; cherished grandfather of Cody Lew, Casie Danielle and Aje Lyn. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, November 17, 2006 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, 6366 Central Avenue with Rabbi Jacob Luski and Hazzan David Sislen, officiating. Interment will follow in Royal Palm Cemetery South. The family suggests memorials to Congregation B'nai Israel or Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. David C.
