Koletic, Rudolph E., 77, of Seminole, Florida (formerly of Tampa) passed away May 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with mesothelioma. Rudy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and vestry member of St Alban's Episcopal Church; He was born July 19, 1929 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated Benedictine HS, BS degree Ohio University, MBA SUNY-Buffalo, and served in US Air Force. Rudy worked at Ford Motor Co., SUNY Buffalo, St. John Fisher College of Rochester, NY, Univ. of Tampa, Austin Companies, and was owner of Management Recruiters. Rudy was an avid sportsman and active member of Treasure Island Yacht and Tennis Club, Director of The Bay Pines Foundation, and Mentor with the Prostate Cancer Coalition. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Jeanne Koletic, previous wife Carol Koletic, sister Mary Henry, sons Tim Koletic and wife Kim of Tampa, David Koletic and wife Natalie of Charlotte, NC, Lori Koletic of Tampa, and Lynn Koletic Bankston and husband Morris of Tampa, and grandchildren; Jordan, Kyle, Cody, Ashlyn, Blake, Jonathan & Jack; and step-grandchildren Katey, Megan, Emmy, Lindsay, and Ellie.
An informal gathering of family and friends will be from 3 PM to 5 PM on Friday, May 25, 2007 at David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg.
A memorial mass will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 330 85th Avenue, St. Pete Beach.
Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast in Clearwater, Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, the V-Foundation for Cancer Research, 106 Towerview Court, Cary, NC. 27513.
