Himmel- Shara Beth 19 of Seminole, beloved daughter, sister, niece and cousin passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, Gainesville. A beautiful young lady with a passion for life, Shara was born in Clearwater on December 1st, 1987. She worked as a camp counselor at the Kent Jewish Community Center in Clearwater for several years and was a sophomore at the University of Florida. Shara served as past president of USY at Congregation B'nai Israel in St. Petersburg where she was a member; graduated from Pinellas County Jewish Day School and was active in Key Club at St. Petersburg High School, where she graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program. She loved her family, her Cockatiel "Jazz" and especially loved her friends. Shara leaves to cherish her life of love and inspirational attitude, her beloved parents Pam Himmel and Barry Himmel; her devoted sisters Tricia and Lisa; her loving aunts, uncles and her cousins Hallie, Shayna, Josh, Rachel and Becky.
Friends and family will gather for her graveside service, 11AM Wednesday November 21st at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Rd., Largo (between Starkey and Belcher).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials of Shara be made to the Pinellas County Jewish Day School, USY at Congregation B'nai Israel, the Kent Jewish Community Center Camp Scholarship Fund or the Florida Chapter for the Children's Heart Foundation.
