Allyson Nicole Hanks
August 31, 1993 — June 17, 2025
Allyson Nicole Hanks (Ally) passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 17th, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. She was just 31 years old. She was born on August 31st,1993 in Cleveland, Ohio. Ally spent the first decade of her life in Ohio where she participated in competitive gymnastics with her sister, Jackie, and was often cared for by her beloved nanny Connie. In 2003, she moved to Tucson, Arizona and graduated from Catalina Foothills High School in 2011. She relocated to Southern California in 2013 where she stayed until 2021 when she returned to Tucson to be closer to her family.
Allyson devoted most of her adult life to childcare. She was a beloved Nanny to many children who thrived in her care. She was tireless in her effort to provide educational, challenging and fun experiences for her charges. She loved them like they were her own. Making a difference in children's lives was truly her calling.
Ally was so many things to us. She was an artist who created "busy boards" for the children of the people she loved. She always had a new idea she was working on and hoped to one day have her own Etsy shop to share her creations. Ally was a trusted friend, daughter, sister and Aunt. She was funny, kind, compassionate and loving. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She endured enormous adversity in her life and met each challenge with endless courage and grace. She loved life and her family.
She is survived by her grandmother, Nancy Hanks, parents Stephen and Shelli Hanks, sisters Jaclyn Doyle, Lindsey Ayres and Danielle Hanks and her precious niece and nephew, Tripp and Charley Doyle as well as Tomas Balderrama and Ivette and Noah Castellanos.
Services will be held on Saturday July 26th at 1 pm at Skyline Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mended Little Hearts-an organization that supports children and families with congenital heart defects. This organization was near and dear to her heart.
