Delma Eanes Branscome

Delma Eanes Branscome, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 11, 2026. A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Timberlake Church located at 21649 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA.

Delma was born April 12, 1937, in Mountain Valley, VA to the late Justice Floyd Eanes and Sally Belcher Eanes. She worked and retired from Kroger and was a longtime member of Timberlake Church. Delma was an avid golfer, wonderful cook and an enthusiastic sports fan. She loved watching and rooting for her New York Yankees and Virginia Cavaliers through good and bad times alike.   She was preceded in death along with her parents by her sisters, Carlene Wyatt and Sue Hall and her brother, Bud Eanes.

Surviving her is her beloved husband of 58 years, Deleon, her daughters, Dana Wilkinson, Denise Branscome and husband Joe Malara, and DeAnn Malcolm and husband Julian along with her 9 grandchildren and 1 great- grandson all of whom were her pride and joy. She is also survived by sister Kate Meeler and husband Mac, and brother, Doyle Eanes and wife Novalene; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their care and support.
