John Joseph Whitman

John Joseph Whitman (Joe), age 58, of Lynchburg, VA left this earth on July 7, 2025.
He was born in Covington, VA on March 25, 1967. He was the son of the late John E. Whitman and Betty G. Whitman.
Joe grew up in White Sulphur Springs, WV before moving to Virginia to work in the Construction Industry.
He moved to Lynchburg in 2007 and spent the last decade working for various families around the Timberlake Community.
Joe was proceeded in death by a son Lincoln and father John. He is survived by his mother Betty Whitman, three brothers Charles Whitman and wife Tammy of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Tommy Whitman and wife Renae of Waynesboro, VA, David Whitman and wife Diane of Lynchburg Va as well as multiple nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
