Betty Jacquline King

Nov 4, 1934 — Jun 17, 2026

Betty Jacqueline King passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 17, 2026.

Betty was 91 years old when she passed away from natural causes

Betty was born in Blue, Oklahoma on November 4, 1934. She was the second of six children born to Cleveland C Anderson and Pauline Beale Anderson. Betty was a proud member of the Choctaw Tribe.

In 1951 Betty met and married Bobby D King in Sequin, Texas.

Being the true military family, they moved to many different states during Bobby ‘s military career. Betty loved it most being stationed close to her siblings. She loved visiting and having visitors.

Betty wore many hats as a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and held a 20-year career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After retiring as a CNA, she became a care giver to multiple children who called her grandma.

Family vacations were always cross-country road trips, visiting relatives and family.

Over their 56 years of marriage, they welcomed 4 children, 7 grand children, and 5 great grand children.

Family was Betty’s top priority. Get togethers were always at the family home and packed with home cooked food, conversation and lots of family and friends. Betty would never sit down and would always “get a chair for you”. Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday and always entertained. After everyone finished eating, Grandma King would always ask “Y’all want some pie?”

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby D King; her siblings Bobbi Lowell, Belva Green, Ronald Anderson and Billie Rachels.

She is survived by her children Joy (Rex) Johnson, Robert (Julie) King, Edgar (Sue) King and Mark King. Grand children Rex Johnson Jr., Kari (Scott) White, Christina King, Jacqueline and Sarah King, Alex King. Great Grand children Jacob and Kai Johnson, Joshua and Katelyn White and Collin Grove and is also survived by her sister Kay Angel and extended family in Louisiana.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Alaska Gardens for the special care they provided to mom.
