Deborah Sue Morrison

Deborah Morrison June 24,1951, passed away at 70, July 30,2021 in Tacoma, WA. Deborah was a dedicated mother, wife and just a wonderful person to all who knew her. She graduated class of 69 at Lincon High school and then furthered her education with a Bachelors in political science. She later retired as supervisor with the Transportaion department in 2015. She was a talented crafter, that loved to make gifts for family and friends. She spent time to learn and cook new recipes from her favorite cooking show, and sharded old ones that were passed down from generation before. She loved to explore the world, from Egypt to the Northwest. From the open sea to the highest mountain, there was no beauty that wound escape her appreciation, in which led her to write multiple stories. Some of her favorite pastimes were sipping a cold coke, while spending time with her family and friends. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she enjoyed putting a smile on everyone's face. Being an optimistic woman, she would light up any room she walked in. She held no judgment and always saw the best in people. Lending a hand whenever she could , Deborah was a kind and thoughtful person, that will forever be missed and remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her two children Tristen j Morrison and Elliott E Morrison. Service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery Sept 8th. at 10:30am. Followed by a celebration of life at 1:30pm at 2716 80th st east Tacoma WA. 98404
